Pearl Harbor

What an awesome and sobering place. We were able to come visit for a couple of hours and it is a must stop for anyone visiting Oahu. There are actually still bullet pock marks on the hangars and other buildings at Hickam from the Japanese attacks back in '41. It was interesting to see that there were actually more Japanese visitors than American.

We thought the same thing about the visitors at Pearl Harbor -- you can ask Wes what his comment was.

Hey now...no crazy asian jokes. Since Matt signed Ava up as 'Asian/Pacific Islander' when she was born (he claims it was to help her get into college), we're slowly beginning to out number you round eyed folks. We've got a long way to go, but we're making an effort! On the Pearl Harbor part, you can ask Matt about his last experience there...I'll give you a hint--it was before my time and about 9 years ago. He's actually probably chosen to try to forget about it. Anyhow, we miss you!
